LDCND Meetings
Lancaster District CND is now part of the regional group: Cumbria and Lancashire Region CND. This includes: Blackpool and Fylde CND, Carlisle CND, East Lancashire and Penrith CND. Meetings take place through-out the year, and this facilitates cooperation within the region.
The Lancaster District CND committee organizes frequent business meetings that are also open to all current or prospective members. We have an itemized agenda from which we discuss our recent activities and plan future events.
If any member would like to add an item to the agenda please e-mail Dick Allwright at least a day in advance of the meeting.
The minutes of each meeting are subsequently available to members by request.
LDCND Committee
The committee is composed of a Treasurer, Secretary (currently held jointly), Press Officer, Education Officer, Membership Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Newsletter Distribution Coordinator (currently held jointly), and a maximum of four additional committee members. The committee is elected every year in September at the Annual General Meeting.

This was the committee in 2008 at the AGM, most of it's members are the same now.
A copy of the constitution is available in .pdf format below:
Newsletters
LDCND produces at least 4 newsletters each year which report on recent activities and notify members of future events. These newsletters are delivered by volunteers to the home addresses of its members. Any member can contribute a piece of writing to the newsletter, so long as it is relevant to our activities.
